• What hardware related costs incur with Evocon?

  The costs related to the hardware necessary to run Evocon largely depend on:

  • What machines you want to monitor and how (PLC, relays, sensors);
  • What hardware is already present in your factory (sensors, cables, internet router);
  • Which displays you want to use for displaying real-time production data on the shop floor;
  • Shipping costs for any hardware provided by Evocon.

  Our team will guide you through all these options during your free trial and help determine the best setup for your factory.

• What is included in the license price?

  What’s included in the license price depends on the package you select. Along with the features listed for each package, you can also expect the following to be included:

  • Customer support
  • Software updates and new features based on the package
  • Annual maintenance of software
  • Evocon’s IIoT device firmware updates
  • Implementation support and configuration
  • Training and onboarding support
  • Data storage for 4 years
  • Unlimited users

• What is not included in the license price?

  The parts of our service that are not included in the license price are:

  • On-site visits
  • Hardware (sensors, cables, displays) and shipping
  • Integrations
  • Custom developments

  A good rule of thumb is that any special requests are probably not included in the license price.

• Why are integrations as an add-on in the Pro and Enterprise package

  Integrations involve tailored technical setup and support. Requirements can differ significantly from one customer to another, so costs and timelines can’t be accurately forecast upfront. We assess each integration on a case-by-case basis.

• Why is the Evocon device priced as a recurring fee?

  Evocon’s IIoT devices are offered as a service so you always have the right hardware for your setup and the peace of mind that it will keep working reliably. Every customer has different needs. Some sites don’t require a device at all, while others may need additional units depending on machine layout, distance, or cabling.

  With the recurring fee:

  • You only pay for the devices you actually need.
  • Devices are provided as long as you are an active customer.
  • Evocon handles replacement, firmware updates, maintenance, and care at no extra cost.
  • If you ever decide to stop using Evocon, you simply return the devices.

  Sensors and cables are purchased separately and remain yours. The only time customers are responsible for device replacement costs is when damage results from negligence or improper use.

• Can I mix and match license plans within the same factory or multiple factories?

  Currently, all licenses within a single company must be on the same plan. This ensures that every factory and user has a consistent set of features and access, which helps avoid confusion and keeps your data and reporting uniform across all factories.

• What if I want to cancel my subscription?

  During your free trial, you’re free to cancel at any time—there are no charges or commitments. If you decide not to continue after the trial, simply return the hardware provided by Evocon, and that’s all that’s required.

  After the free trial period, the notice time for canceling your Evocon subscription is 2 months.
