Here is our step-by-step guide to setting up Evocon. This will help you get started with production monitoring using Evocon’s OEE software so you can transform your production process.

Getting Started with Evocon

Before we can start to set up Evocon, let’s determine what you need.

Do it yourself

To find out how your production can be monitored, please read:

How to Monitor Production and Track OEE Using Evocon?

To find out what hardware you need, please read:

What hardware do I need and does Evocon provide it?

Reading time: 10-50 minutes, depending on your type of production.

Or let us help you

Contact us by chat or email to find out what solution suits you best. Or, if you prefer, we can talk to you on the phone.

  • Chat: we are online during business hours (UTC/GMT +2h), and you can talk to us immediately.

  • Email: we usually respond within a few hours.

Step 1: Contact us

Please contact us, so that we know what hardware to ship and what customizations to make.

Fill in the free trial form

If you prefer a structured approach, a great way to start is to fill in the 30-day free trial form. We will follow up with an email, asking you these questions about your production.

Your answers will help us determine what hardware we need to send you (if we need to send it) and how to set up the system for your needs.

Or just contact us

For a less structured approach, or if you wish to purchase Evocon right away, get in touch with us via chat or email. If you prefer, we can talk to you on the phone.

Setting up Evocon in your factory, whether you do it as part of the 30-day trial or purchase it right away, is exactly the same.

Step 2: The hardware is shipped, and you get access to the system

DHL will deliver the Evocon’s IIoT device to your doorstep alongside with necessary sensors and cables (if requested).

  • If you are in Europe, you will receive your hardware in 1-2 business days.
  • For anywhere else, it will be no more than 3-4 business days.

While your parcel is traveling, we provide you with all the instructions you need to set up Evocon. So, when you receive it, you will already have all the information to get it done.

You get access to the system as soon as the hardware is shipped, which means that you can start configuring the system (entering products, shifts, downtime reasons) before you even get the hardware.

To speed things up further, one part of step No.3 can be done before you receive our device and sensors: setting up the internet.

Step 3: You get the hardware and set it up

Your technical personnel does the setup

Evocon is very easy to set up. Your technical team will be able to do it themselves, thus avoiding substantial implementation costs.

Most of our clients manage to set up Evocon in a few hours.

Or our technical support helps

If you have no in-house technicians or electricians, no worries: we will give you our technical support and guidance via phone or email.

It will take a few hours or more, depending on the chosen way of communication.

You are done! ✅

This is it. Once everything is set up, you can log in and watch your OEE data flowing in.

How About Training?

Evocon is an intuitive and easy-to-use system. However, to get the most out of the system, there are various options:

Read help articles

Go through our help articles. There you will find instructions with videos and illustrations.

Train your team yourself, using our tutorial on the demo system

We can provide you with a designated demo account that has a system tutorial. It makes it easy for you to train your team.

Let us train your personnel

When implementing Evocon on a broader scale, we train key personnel of your company via a webinar. The webinars usually last for an hour, followed by a Q&A session.
